| i was playing re5 and gots on the last boss and the game kinda froze and got stuck, i turned it off and played online with a friend to beat it but it got stuck again but this time the game ejected itself, after that now it wont play any games, im stuck with playing 3 crappy games i gots from psn D:
i looked it up and its probably the lens that fawked up, ive looked up guides to find a fix but none worked
i went to recovery, reinstalled update, restored settings, rebulit database, tried a lens cleaning disc that has a brush on it, cleaned it up, and used air in a can on it, put a cooling fan under it since it gets hot fast(since that i can atleast load the games for 5secs til it stops recognizing it), NOTHINGS WORKING >.<
i only has 2 options that i can think of: Format it and try it then ( but that will fawk up everything i worked for ) or send it to sony and get it fixed for 150$ ( or... have my dad open it and 'try' to clean it and break it even more in the process ) |

If its still under warranty and you didn't try taking it apart to work on it and its the systems fault then SONY shouldn't even charge you unless they detect it was tampered with (a broken seal). |

Alright..unless you know a major techy or someone who has fixed an issue like this the only thing I can say is if your dad can afford it to have him get it fixed by SONY,the only system I ever fixed was a ps2,but that was over 5 years ago.The ps3 isn't the same as a ps2,if your dad bought it without warranty then technicly its his problem and he should pay to have it fixed unless he knows what hes doing. |

my dad bought it with warranty but it expired, and me and dust are the only techy ppl around here... >_> that ik of atleast, my dad likes to try to fix things himself and usually fawks it all up, and he wont pay for it to be fixed, me and dust don't wanna give Sony 75$ each, especially since it wasn't even our fault it broke, we took like perfect care of it, i blame Sony |

Well your dad sounds almost like me in a way, since this is open to the public to see then maybe someone will see it and have an idea or know what to do to find a better solution to this problem, until then I have no answer to this question. |

| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Ya he wanted me to tell you.. `~` But seriously, if it doesn't work after having your len's laser recalibrated or strengthened/weakened, its most likely "fucking broke" unless you go through the trivial trouble it takes to have it analyzed by an HONEST Console Doc ~ get's hot fast you say? Un-cle feeling veeerrry generous
* $5 or lower, most likely like a trial run to a porn site kinda thing not that i watch porn you might,, but that's okay, since you got the quads, and i have seem to have the luxuries, right? it's just that i have good memory and remember what the subscription page for almost all of them look like cus they're all similar
